Crimson Tear

A fruitless day, an endless night.
The bitter thoughts, of loves gone by.

In the dark, I sit and stare.
Wondering how, I am supposed to care.

You took me in, you showed me light.
Then the day came, our last fight.

Shouts exchanged, feelings laid out,
You scared me so, there was no doubt.

I turned my back, not wanting to stay.
But you grabbed me, before I could get away.

The end was close, the room grew dim.
And all I felt, was my head begin to spin.

My rage exploded, I grabbed the knife.
The room went dark, as it took a life.

The sight beheld, in such fear.
All I saw, was a crimson tear.
