Tribute to Silence

I come to this road, tired and alone.
Yet I speak no grievances.
I worship this silence.

Let your darkness cover me.
Shine no angelic light upon me.
For I become dust in its purifying scourge.

Lead me not to level pathways.
I prefer the one less traveled.
Leave me here at the edge of the unknown.

I shall survive Fate's great challenge.
In it I create what truly is myself.
Your corrupted light depress me but may you never suppress me
